Deck overview

Ellie and Alan, Paleontologists is a Bant Dinosaur value engine that turns the graveyard into free spells. The deck fills the graveyard by cycling high-mana Dinosaurs such as Titanoth Rex and by sacrificing or milling creatures, then activates the commander to discover a large payoff. It also has a backup ramp-and-smash plan with Ghalta, Primal Hunger, Ghalta and Mavren, and trample beaters. The commander is the primary engine, and there is no double-faced commander; the deck is built around her sorcery-speed activation, backed by untap effects like Vizier of Tumbling Sands. The goal is to chain discoveries, develop a huge board, and finish through combat damage over two or three attack phases.
