Overwhelming Ooze by AJC

Format: Commander

Commander: Uugguu, the Omniplasm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Uugguu, the Omniplasm leads a Sultai creature-centric strategy focused on Ooze tribal synergies, sacrifice loops, and token multiplication. Whenever a nontoken Ooze dies, Uugguu splits it into two token copies, doubling death triggers, enter-the-battlefield abilities, and board presence. The deck uses sacrifice outlets and pod chains like Birthing Pod and Prime Speaker Vannifar to tutor threats while duplicating sacrificed creatures. The primary path to victory is overwhelming combat damage. The deck amasses a wide board of mutated Ooze tokens, empowers them with plus-one-plus-one counters, and closes the game using evasion pieces like Herald of Secret Streams, Cover of Darkness, or a lethal Triumph of the Hordes overrun.
