Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov tax and attrition engine commanded by Kambal, Consul of Allocation. It aims to slow down opposing game plans using disruptive stax pieces while gradually draining the table through lifegain and spellcasting punishment. Early turns establish mana rocks and disruptive permanents such as Clarion Conqueror, Blind Obedience, and Damping Sphere, followed by deploying Kambal on Turn 3. As opponents cast spells and develop their boards, they trigger continuous life loss through Kambal, Liesa, Shroud of Dusk, Fate Unraveler, and Suture Priest. The deck uses this steady life buffer to pull ahead in resources and protect its life total. In the late game, high-impact multipliers such as Wound Reflection, Aetherflux Reservoir, or Test of Endurance turn this steady attrition into a decisive finish, eliminating all three opponents around Turn 8.
