Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aura-voltron and combat control strategy commanded by Killian, Decisive Mentor. The game plan revolves around deploying low-cost enchantments and Auras to steadily buff Killian or alternate threats like Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice into lethal attackers. Every enchantment that enters under your control triggers Killian to tap down a key opposing blocker and goad it, forcing opponents to swing into one another while opening clear attack lanes. Attacking with enchanted creatures triggers Killian's card draw engine to keep your hand replenished with fresh enchantments, removal, and protection spells. Defensively, the deck utilizes pillowfort taxes like Ghostly Prison and Authority of the Consuls, while shielding its main threats using Sheltered by Ghosts, Spirit Mantle, Greater Auramancy, and Clever Concealment. The deck methodically eliminates opponents one by one through amplified commander damage by Turn 7.
