Commander: Killian, Ink Duelist

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Killian, Ink Duelist is a white-black Aura-voltron deck built around turning his "spells that target a creature cost {2} less" ability into near-free Auras and targeted removal. The primary plan is to suit up Killian with buff Auras and kill opponents one at a time with commander damage, while goad and tax effects like those from Eriette, Nils, and the Impetus Auras soften the board. Card draw comes mostly from Aura-dependent triggers such as Pearl-Ear and Killian, Decisive Mentor. There is no true hidden commander; Killian's discount is the organizing engine. The deck can also pivot to a slower drain finish with Eriette if the voltron plan is disrupted.
