Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul landfall burn strategy commanded by Tannuk, Memorial Ensign. The deck leverages a 43-land base and dense ramp suite to quickly establish extra land drops. Each land entering the battlefield deals direct damage to all opponents, while the second land drop each turn triggers card draw from the command zone. The deck scales its damage output using damage amplifiers like Torbran, Thane of Red Fell and Mechanized Warfare, as well as massive card advantage from Virtue of Courage and Keen Sense. Mid-to-late game turns capitalize on mass graveyard land retrieval spells like Splendid Reclamation and Aftermath Analyst, alongside token producers like Avenger of Zendikar and Omnath, Locus of Rage. The deck presents an inevitable burn clock supported by resilient mana and consistent card flow.
