Breena EDH Deck by MrZurkon

Format: Commander

Commander: Breena, the Demagogue

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This deck is a political Orzhov (+1/+1 counter) strategy helmed by Breena, the Demagogue. The primary game plan revolves around using Breena's trigger to draw cards and distribute +1/+1 counters whenever opponents attack each other, while pillowfort cards like Ghostly Prison and Windborn Muse discourage attacks against you. Goad auras such as Bloodthirsty Blade, Martial Impetus, and Parasitic Impetus redirect enemy aggression, fueling Breena's ability and creating a self-sustaining cycle of card advantage and counter accumulation. The deck wins through incremental combat damage, using flyers like Shadrix Silverquill, Necropolis Regent, and Felisa, Fang of Silverquill to generate large boards of evasive threats. Reanimation cards like Debtors' Knell and Incarnation Technique provide recovery, while Inkshield and Selfless Squire offer emergency protection. The deck has no infinite combos and relies on political pressure and gradual value to outlast opponents.
