Self defence by TWA_PizzaDog

Format: Commander

Commander: Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-red deck forces opponents to attack each other while it taxes attacks aimed at you. Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs creates a 3/3 Ogre for each attacker that does not pay {3}, which deters swings at you and builds blockers. Forced-combat and goad pieces like Fumiko the Lowblood, Goblin Spymaster, Grand Melee, and War's Toll then make opponents attack each other every combat. Punishers such as Descent into Avernus, Sulfuric Vortex, Angel's Trumpet, and Kratos, God of War drain life while treasures from Curse of Opulence and Trove of Temptation ramp you. You close by letting opponents trade creatures, then stealing the remaining boards with Insurrection or burning them with Incite Rebellion.
