SULTAI - ~DRAFT - Elves n such by LukeyPru

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is the engine: while he is on the battlefield, every activated ability of an Elf card in the graveyard is available to him. The primary path bins Devoted Druid, Immaculate Magistrate, and Tyvar, the Pummeler, then turns Thranduil into an untapping mana battery that finishes with a repeated Tyvar pump and a combat step. Secondary plans are elf-token swarm from Lys Alana Huntmaster, Imperious Perfect, and Galadriel, finished by Overwhelming Stampede or Lathril's drain. There is no hidden commander; the supporting legendary Elves exist mainly to trigger Thranduil's draw-two-and-discard and to stock the yard. This makes the deck fast but highly dependent on both Thranduil and graveyard access.
