Deck overview

This Golgari Dragon tribal deck is helmed by Shadowheart, Dark Justiciar, who converts sacrificed creatures into raw card draw, with Acolyte of Bahamut as the Background, discounting the first Dragon cast each turn by {2}. The plan is to ramp aggressively with mana dorks and land-tutor spells, deploy a steady stream of large flying Dragons, and leverage a deep sacrifice theme - Dictate of Erebos, Grave Pact, Savra, Queen of the Golgari, and Dina, Essence Brewer - to control the board while drawing cards. Graveyard recursion via Meren of Clan Nel Toth, Boneyard Scourge, Ebondeath, Dracolich, and Whip of Erebos provides resilience. The primary win is combat damage from evasive Dragons, accelerated by Old Gnawbone treasures and Kokusho, the Evening Star drain loops, with Finale of Devastation as an overrun finisher.
