Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Temur Dragon tribal strategy centered on Ureni of the Unwritten. The primary game plan focuses on spending the early turns ramping aggressively with mana rocks, land-search spells, and Dragon cost-reducers. By Turn 5, the deck casts Ureni, immediately triggering its ability to dig eight cards deep and cheat a massive Dragon onto the battlefield. From this onset, the deck leverages formidable Dragon synergies—such as double strike from Atarka, World Render, token multiplication from Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm and Utvara Hellkite, and burn from Terror of the Peaks—to overwhelm opponents through evasive aerial combat. With haste enablers like Temur Ascendancy and Dragon Tempest, the clock accelerates dramatically. While the deck possesses explosive damage and strong resilience via standalone Dragon threats, it remains reliant on combat damage and vulnerable to timely board sweepers.
