Deck overview

This deck is a 4-Color Polymorph Control strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost token generators such as Bitterblossom, Skrelv's Hive, and Staff of the Storyteller during the early turns, then casting Jace on Turn 4 to immediately activate his −3 loyalty ability. This cheats one of twenty devastating high-CMC creature or planeswalker threats directly into play, including Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Toxrill, the Corrosive, Archon of Cruelty, and Serra's Emissary. Once a dominant threat enters, it imposes severe asymmetric resource denial or board suppression, locking opponents out of development while Jace generates steady card advantage and protects himself with a {2} combat tax. Backup polymorph enablers like Proteus Staff, Identity Echo, and Divergent Transformations ensure high redundancy if Jace is removed. The deck transitions into lethal aerial combat over three response cycles to close out the game on Turn 7.
