Format: Commander

Commander: K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This mono-black combo deck leverages K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth to convert life totals directly into explosive black mana, accelerating high-impact tutors and mass card-draw spells. The primary game plan rushes fast mana to deploy K'rrik early, enabling rapid tutor chains that find win conditions like Aetherflux Reservoir combined with Leshrac's Sigil for infinite storm and life drain. Secondary win conditions include Buried Alive piles utilizing Necrotic Ooze with Asmodeus the Archfiend and Skirge Familiar, or reanimating Hoarding Broodlord and Razaketh, the Foulblooded. The deck rapidly converts life into overwhelming card advantage and terminates the game through deterministic combo loops.
