Deck overview

This competitive Mono-Blue combo deck leverages Samut, Tyrant of Naktamun to give all instant and sorcery spells split second, effectively silencing opposing counterspells and interaction while executing critical lines. The primary strategy focuses on assembling infinite mana through Isochron Scepter imprinting Dramatic Reversal, Grim Monolith or Basalt Monolith enchanted with Power Artifact, or Hullbreaker Horror bounce loops. Dense 0–1 CMC fast mana accelerates setup to consistently threaten Turn 2–3 wins. Once infinite mana is generated, the deck draws its entire library using Sensei's Divining Top, The One Ring, or cantrips, then finishes the table using Walking Ballista, Thassa's Oracle, or Brain Freeze. Backed by a full suite of free counterspells, efficient artifact tutors, and asymmetric stax via Back to Basics, the deck operates at the format ceiling for speed, consistency, and stack protection.
