Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mono-Red spellslinger strategy led by Gandalf, Goblins' Bane. The deck leverages cheap noncreature spells, rituals, and impulse card draw to trigger Gandalf and a suite of redundant pingers, dealing widespread noncombat damage to each opponent. It amplifies this damage with powerhouses like Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, and Artist's Talent, allowing individual 1-damage triggers to scale into devastating 4-to-8 damage bursts. Mana refund engines like Birgi, God of Storytelling and Storm-Kiln Artist keep storm chains mana-neutral or mana-positive, while Virtue of Courage and Underworld Breach provide massive card replenishment to sustain full-table burnouts in a single explosive turn. The deck includes targeted redirection and anti-counter protection to safeguard its decisive turns.
