Format: Commander

Commander: Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Wilhelt leads a Zombie tribal aristocrats deck that grinds value through death triggers and token generation. Wilhelt turns every non-decayed Zombie death into a 2/2 decayed token and draws cards at end step, fueling a resilient board. The deck wins by swarming with lords like Diregraf Captain and Death Baron, draining with Bontu's Monument and The Meathook Massacre, or assembling Gravecrawler loops with Phyrexian and Ashnod's Altar and Blasting Station. Rooftop Storm and Necroduality amplify the engine, while Buried Alive and Entomb set up the graveyard. It plays as a midrange grind deck that can pivot to infinite damage when the pieces align.
