New Untitled Deck by user9528794

Format: Commander

Commander: Marneus Calgar

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Marneus Calgar is an Esper token-draw engine. The primary plan is to convert token production into card advantage, drain opponents with Zulaport/Bastion/Elas triggers, then assemble the Ashnod's Altar + Pitiless Plunderer + Marneus loop for infinite life loss. Secondary paths win through chip damage from flying and double-strike tokens, treasure generation with Tivit/Smothering Tithe/Revel in Riches, and wide boards from Court of Grace/Thalisse/Kaya. The commander is both a draw engine and the combo linchpin; Tivit, Seller of Secrets acts as the hidden commander of a 'tokens-and-votes' value plan. The deck controls the stack while developing token shields.
