Deck overview

This deck utilizes Loki, the Deceiver as an aggressive combat and card-draw engine that duplicates impactful Villain permanents each turn. By combining efficient Grixis ramp with a dense suite of Villains and versatile clone effects like Spark Double and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces, the deck establishes commanding combat boards that generate steady card velocity. Support pieces like Obeka, Brute Chronologist allow temporary illusion tokens to bypass their end-step sacrifice triggers, while cards like Mysterio, Master of Illusion rapidly expand token armies. Although the deck boasts high-caliber reactive disruption and free commander spells, it relies almost entirely on combat damage to eliminate opponents across multiple turn cycles, leaving it exposed to well-timed board wipes.
