Deck overview

This deck is an explosive mono-black reanimator and mill-combo deck led by The Master of Lake-town. The main strategy uses fast mana and efficient tutors like Entomb and Buried Alive to place game-ending creatures into the graveyard early. From there, cheap recursion spells such as Reanimate and Animate Dead deploy Vilis, Broker of Blood or Valgavoth, Terror Eater as early as Turn 2 or 3. Reanimating Vilis instantly refills the hand with fresh cards, quickly assembling lethal combos. The deck's primary kill condition combines Bloodchief Ascension with Mindcrank or The Master of Lake-town, triggering an infinite loop of mill and life loss that wipes out the entire table in one turn cycle. Secondary lines utilize K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth, Bloodletter of Aclazotz, and Unstoppable Slasher to deal lethal damage. Asymmetric hate pieces like Dauthi Voidwalker and Leyline of the Void suppress opposing strategies while this deck executes its proactive game plan.
