LotR Hobbit - Dwarf Dragon Treasure #3 by tomtom4711

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk is a Boros Dwarf-tribal engine that converts every Dwarf entering the battlefield into a Treasure token and then uses those same artifact tokens as a global +1/+0 pump. The deck floods the board with cheap Dwarves, equipment tokens, and storied payoffs, then finishes through a massive double-striking attack, Dain of Ancient Halls's spread damage, Balin's ETB burn, or Hellkite Tyrant's artifact-count win. Magda, Brazen Outlaw is the hidden commander: she doubles treasure generation by tapping attackers, and her five-Treasure ability searches for artifact/Dragon finishers. The plan is aggressive but takes setup turns; careful Treasure preservation and instant-speed protection are key.
