Betor, Ancestor's Voice leads an Abzan lifegain/lifeloss value deck with no deterministic combo. The primary plan uses Betor's end-step triggers to put +1/+1 counters equal to life gained on a creature and to reanimate a creature with mana value equal to life lost, supported by redundant engines Celestine, the Living Saint and Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn. Secondary paths are alternate upkeep wins via Felidar Sovereign, Test of Endurance, Mortal Combat, Epic Struggle, Liliana's Contract and Approach of the Second Sun, plus drain kills with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Bloodletter of Aclazotz. Vilis, Broker of Blood acts as hidden commander for draw. Wins come via combat, drain, or surviving to an upkeep trigger.
