Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet tempo-combo strategy powered by partner commanders Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar. The primary game plan curves Kediss into Malcolm to generate three Treasure tokens each combat step as Malcolm's combat damage hits every opponent simultaneously. The banked Treasures accelerate development, cast defensive interaction, and set up a compact one-turn win. The primary win condition is Glint-Horn Buccaneer, which goes infinite with Malcolm upon attacking by turning discards into damage and generating three fresh Treasures per activation. Backup lines use creature-type changers like Blades of Velis Vel or Unnatural Selection on artifact pingers like Reckless Fireweaver to create similar infinite damage loops. Supported by free protection spells such as Deflecting Swat and Fierce Guardianship, the deck reliably initiates and shields a same-turn lethal combo by Turn 4.
