Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black control and attrition strategy led by Massacre Girl, Known Killer. The primary game plan uses wither combat damage, targeted -X/-X removal, and static toughness debuffs like Night of Souls' Betrayal to shrink opposing creatures. Whenever an opposing creature dies with zero or less toughness, Massacre Girl draws cards to keep your hand full. The deck continuously clears utility creatures and tokens, converting opposing boards into card advantage. Win conditions rely on life drain from Syr Konrad, the Grim, Massacre Wurm, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel, backed by tokens from Nest of Scarabs. While the deck excels at suppressing creature strategies, it lacks answers to noncreature permanents and closes the game through multi-turn combat pressure.
