Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai tribal midrange strategy that leverages the density of cheap Elves and Faeries to fuel Maralen, Fae Ascendant. By curving out with efficient mana dorks like Elvish Mystic and Woodland Weavemaster, the deck consistently casts its commander on Turn 4. Once Maralen enters, every additional Elf or Faerie exiles cards from opponents' libraries and allows you to cast stolen spells for free each turn, scaling directly with your tribal board count. The deck builds continuous tempo and card advantage, transitioning into a critical threat on Turn 6 with payoffs like High Perfect Morcant and Thranduil, Sindarin Liege. Morcant spreads -1/-1 counters to suppress opposing blockers while Thranduil swarms the board with Elf tokens. The deck closes the game on Turn 8 through wide, anthem-boosted combat damage, supported by versatile removal and protective flash spells to maintain board presence.
