Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov enchantress control list commanded by Killian, Decisive Mentor. The strategy revolves around casting Auras on both friendly and opposing creatures to control the battlefield through forced combat and asymmetric card advantage. Each enchantment entry triggers Killian to tap and goad an opposing threat, deflecting incoming attacks toward opponents while drawing cards whenever enchanted creatures attack. The deck supplements this goad engine with pillowfort deterrents such as Ghostly Prison, Nils, Discipline Enforcer, and Eriette of the Charmed Apple. Token producers like Archon of Sun's Grace and Ajani's Chosen convert Aura casts into an evasive aerial army. Removal is integrated directly into the enchantment theme via versatile Auras like Sheltered by Ghosts and Chains of Custody. The deck wins by letting opponents whittle down each other's life totals under forced combat, then finishing the survivors with evasive token swarms, massive Aura-boosted attackers, or direct end-step life drain.
