Deck overview

This is a Grixis amass Orcs / Ring-tempts control-midrange deck helmed by Sauron, the Dark Lord. The primary plan is to generate Orc armies from opponent spells, use the Ring to refill the hand (discard hand, draw four), and close out with combat damage from a large army and big dragons. Secondary wins include Moraug, Fury of Akoum landfall extra combats and the massive card advantage of The One Ring and Black Market Connections. The deck controls the board with counterspells, removal, and symmetric wipes while building toward an overwhelming board state. It is a grindy value deck that wins through inevitability rather than a fast combo.
