Deck overview

This deck is a casual Azorius Merfolk tribal list led by Sharae of Numbing Depths. The primary strategy focuses on establishing Merfolk synergies, generating 1/1 hexproof tokens through Deeproot Waters, and locking down opposing threats using stun counters and tap abilities. With Sharae of Numbing Depths on the battlefield, tapping opposing creatures converts tempo plays into steady card advantage. The deck aims to close the game through unblockable and flying combat damage enabled by Attuma, Atlantean Warlord, Namor, Scourge of the Seas, Aquatic Incursion, and asymmetric board clears like River's Rebuke. Because it lacks fast mana, high-power anthems, and tutors, the deck plays at a deliberate, grindy pace, relying on combat attrition over several turns to eliminate opponents.
