Deck overview

This Sultai deck is an engine-driven control build commanded by Kadena, Slinking Sorcerer. It capitalizes on face-down creature mechanics—including morph, megamorph, disguise, manifest, and cloak—to cheat mana costs and draw overwhelming numbers of cards. By deploying flash enablers such as Vivien, Champion of the Wilds, High Fae Trickster, and Vedalken Orrery, the deck exploits Kadena's cost reduction on every player's turn, effectively casting free 2/2 creatures and drawing multiple cards per rotation. Interaction is largely embedded within face-down creatures, allowing the pilot to counter spells, redirect removal, bounce threats, and destroy permanents using uncounterable special-action flips. The deck secures victory either by locking all opponents out of their untap steps with the classic Brine Elemental and Vesuvan Shapeshifter combo or by sweeping colored permanents with All Is Dust and attacking with buffed colorless creature swarms.
