Simic Time by LeoMahnnen

Format: Commander

Commander: Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca leads a Simic Merfolk board-building engine that wins by making a wide, unblockable, counter-heavy team. The primary plan is cheap Merfolk, lords, and token generators (Deeproot Waters, Deeproot Pilgrimage, Emperor Mihail II), then a combat turn behind islandwalk, flying, or Herald of Secret Streams. The secondary, faster path is the Deeproot Pilgrimage + Intruder Alarm loop, which makes infinite Merfolk and allows Kumena to put arbitrary +1/+1 counters on the whole team. Kumena is the draw, evasion, and pump outlet; with no double-faced or hidden commander, the list is built around him but has enough alternate card draw to keep functioning if he is answered.
