Deck overview

This Saskia the Unyielding deck is a damage-redirection combo-control strategy designed to weaponize symmetric board wipes and massive single-target damage. Instead of winning through traditional combat swarms, the deck deploys resilient 'spite' creatures like Brash Taunter, Phyrexian Vindicator, Stuffy Doll, and Boros Reckoner. Once a reflector is established, spells such as Blasphemous Act, Star of Extinction, or the 100-damage trigger from Dawnsire, Sunstar Dreadnought turn board-clearing effects into lethal direct-damage nukes. Saskia the Unyielding doubles combat-damage output, allowing the deck to focus pressure on a primary target while automatically burning down a second player. A dense suite of protective instants like Boros Charm, Flawless Maneuver, and Unbreakable Formation shields key creatures against removal and wipes. While highly potent against creature-centric boards, the deck lacks blue stack interaction and relies on assembling both a reflector and a heavy burn enabler to achieve victory on Turn 8.
