Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck is commanded by Vivi Ornitier, a Wizard that grows with each noncreature spell and can tap for mana equal to its power while pinging all opponents for 1. The primary game plan is to chain instants and sorceries, using Vivi's mana ability to fuel additional spells and accumulate damage. Wizard synergies from Harmonic Prodigy (double triggers) and Niv-Mizzet, Parun (card draw and ping) amplify value. Win conditions include incremental ping from Vivi and Niv-Mizzet, large burst spells like Snort and Ultimate Magic: Meteor, and the transformed The Lord Master of Hell dealing damage equal to the number of noncreature, nonland cards in the graveyard. The deck controls the board with a dense interaction suite-counterspells, spot removal, and board wipes-while slowly grinding out advantage.
