SAURON - Armies of Mordor by Yimr

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Single-faced Sauron, the Dark Lord is the engine: his Ring-tempt trigger turns every Ring temptation into a four-card draw, while opponents' casts build an Orc Army. The primary plan is to grow a huge Army with amass triggers and push through for lethal, using Wraith/Nazgul synergies as a secondary swarm. Sauron, Lord of the Rings in the 99 acts as a second finisher, and Saruman, the White Hand / Lord of the Nazgul convert instants and sorceries into armies of smaller threats. The deck is deliberately built around the front face; there is no double-faced commander.
