Deck overview

This mono-black Aristocrats deck is led by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER, utilizing a dense sacrifice engine to generate card advantage, manage opposing boards, and drain opponents. The deck establishes early board presence through low-cost recursive fodder like Gravecrawler, Forsaken Miner, and Bitterbloom Bearer, transitioning into steady draw power once Sephiroth begins attacking. Its primary win condition is a deterministic infinite drain loop assembling Warren Soultrader, Gravecrawler, and the commander. When executing this loop, sacrificing Gravecrawler generates a Treasure while Sephiroth refunds the life payment and drains an opponent, allowing infinite recasts from the graveyard to defeat all three opponents in a single turn. Defensively, the list features efficient instant removal like Deadly Rollick and Infernal Grasp alongside recurring edicts, while protecting its key pieces with reactive resurrection spells like Feign Death. Redundant payoffs such as Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel provide strong backup paths if the commander is disrupted.
