Format: Commander

Commander: Saskia the Unyielding

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Saskia the Unyielding leads a four-color, nonblue combat deck that wins by making every creature's damage effectively count twice against one chosen opponent while the rest of the table absorbs normal combat damage. The primary plan is to develop mana through three-mana banners and Orcish Lumberjack, cast Saskia on turn 4, then swing with haste immediately. Secondary lines use Dune-Brood Nephilim to snowball Sand tokens, Balthor the Defiled to mass-reanimate black and red creatures, and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord to drain life by sacrificing large creatures. The commander is the central damage multiplier, though the deck can still attack with a creature swarm if she is kept off the board. There is no hidden commander; supporting legends like Grizzlegom and Oros are utility threats.
