Deck overview

Aerid Konstrari leads an aggressive Gruul artifact-token and creature-copy strategy that converts artifact density into explosive mana velocity and lethal burn. The deck rapidly ramps on the first two turns with dense 1-2 CMC mana dorks and rocks, deploying Aerid on Turn 3 to generate its signature Heartwood tokens. On Turn 4 and Turn 5, the deck transitions from ramp to decisive pressure by chaining token doublers, artifact burn pingers like Reckless Fireweaver and Ingenious Artillerist, and potent clone engines like Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink and Rionya, Fire Dancer. Aerid's activated ability repeatedly scales in power with every artifact on board, enabling rapid commander-damage eliminations or devastating board-wide wipes with Chandra's Ignition. Supported by an exceptional protection suite featuring Deflecting Swat, Heroic Intervention, and Hexing Squelcher, the deck reliably withstands removal while powering out massive haymakers like Depthshaker Titan and Craterclaw Colossus to close out the game on Turn 6.
