Deck overview

This deck is a focused Grixis midrange build designed around Sauron, the Dark Lord and the Amass Orcs and Goblins mechanic. In the early game, it deploys cost-effective amass creatures and enchantments like March from the Black Gate and Mauhúr, Uruk-hai Captain to establish an expanding Army token. On Turn 5, it resolves Sauron, whose Ward ability penalizes opposing targeted removal. Once Sauron and the Army connect in combat on Turn 6, Ring temptation triggers allow the deck to discard low-value cards and draw four new cards repeatedly.
