Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai Elf and Faerie typal midrange deck led by Maralen, Fae Ascendant. The primary strategy focuses on deploying efficient mana dorks like Llanowar Elves and Fyndhorn Elves on early turns to cast Maralen ahead of schedule. Once Maralen enters, every Elf or Faerie entering the battlefield exiles two cards from an opponent, allowing you to cast an exiled spell for free each turn up to your typal count. The list leverages flash Faeries such as Spellstutter Sprite and Glamermite to trigger Maralen on opposing turns, maintaining steady card advantage and tempo. A dense suite of countermagic and bounce spells defends your board while disrupting opposing strategies. Victory is achieved by generating wide token swarms with Elven Ambush, buffing the team with Pride of the Perfect, and delivering evasive combat damage alongside Bident of Thassa. The deck's primary vulnerability is its reliance on fragile low-toughness creatures susceptible to mass sweepers.
