Format: Commander

Commander: Radagast of Rhosgobel

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Radagast of Rhosgobel is a value-reducer commander: he discounts the first creature each turn by two and lets it come in at flash speed. The deck is a mono-green stompy engine that ramps hard, chains big creatures, and converts their power into cards via Beast Whisperer, Garruk's Uprising, and Elemental Bond. It wins by amassing a trampling board and pumping it with End-Raze Forerunners, Kamahl, Heart of Krosa, or Thunderfoot Baloth. Secondary paths include token swarm from Rampaging Baloths/Hornet Queen, huge Ghalta swings, and Mosswort Bridge's hideaway cheat. There is no hidden commander; Radagast is not the kill condition, just the acceleration. The main failure mode is sitting on a top-heavy hand with no acceleration.
