Deck overview

Lo and Li, Royal Advisors is a Dimir mill deck built around a 22-copy Persistent Petitioners package. The commander turns every opponent discard and every mill trigger into +1/+1 counters for each Advisor, while the Petitioners' four-Advisor activation mills 12 cards at a time. Primary finishing lines are Grindstone + Painter's Servant for infinite mill, Bruvac with Traumatize or Cut Your Losses for a one-shot kill, and Chain of Smog + Professor Onyx for infinite drain. Thrumming Stone adds a hidden-combo angle by rippling Persistent Petitioners out of the library. Persistent Petitioners is effectively the deck's hidden commander; Lo and Li is a scaling support piece rather than a necessary combo component.
