Deck overview

This Bant commander deck leverages Tidus, Yuna's Guardian to orchestrate an aggressive +1/+1 counters and proliferate strategy. Early turns focus on establishing efficient mana dorks and low-cost creatures that enter with or generate counters, such as Biophagus and Botanical Brawler. Once Tidus, Yuna's Guardian hits the battlefield on Turn 3, combat triggers immediately begin generating card advantage and proliferating counters across the board. The midgame compounds this advantage through draw engines like Danny Pink and Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar while setting up explosive exponential multipliers like Kalonian Hydra, Ouroboroid, and Innkeeper's Talent. Opposing boards are cleared using highly asymmetric sweepers such as Damning Verdict and Wave Goodbye, clearing paths for lethal trample and double strike damage. Robust protection spells such as Ripples of Potential and Inspiring Call safeguard the wide board state against opposing removal, securing a reliable combat finish around Turn 8.
