The Enduring Saga

Format: Commander

Commander: Bifur, Melodic Rider

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Bifur, Melodic Rider is a Boros Dwarf/Equipment deck built around the storied threshold. The primary plan is to deploy cheap artifacts, legendaries, and Sagas, then cast Bifur so his enter and attack triggers double, turning an equipped Bifur into a commander-damage clock. Secondary paths use Saga/treasure ramp into Smaug or a Dragon token, Balin and Thunderdrum Soloist for burn, and An Unexpected Party for a token finish. Bifur is both the trigger doubler and the usual voltron target; there is no hidden commander. The deck wins through repeated equipped attacks, with Ajani or Twin Blades providing double strike to close games.
