Deck overview

This Grixis deck is piloted by Edea, Possessed Sorceress, turning opposing threats into personal ammunition. The core game plan focuses on utilizing Edea's combat trigger to borrow the strongest opposing creature, swinging it at opponents, and feeding it into a sacrifice outlet before the turn ends. Because Edea returns stolen creatures to their owners when they die and immediately draws a card, the deck generates asymmetric card advantage and mana from outlets like Phyrexian Altar and Warren Soultrader while keeping opposing boards suppressed. Clones such as Spark Double, Sakashima of a Thousand Faces, and Irenicus's Vile Duplication bypass the legend rule to double or triple theft triggers each combat. Permanent retention effects like Thassa, Deep-Dwelling and Bazaar Trader turn temporary steals into permanent ownership. Games are closed out either through overwhelming alpha strikes via Mob Rule, burn loops with Goblin Bombardment, or milling libraries with Altar of Dementia.
