Rebecca Guay Commander by Happypup4515

Format: Commander

Commander: Galadriel, Light of Valinor

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Galadriel, Light of Valinor is the engine of a Bant creature-value deck. The plan is to put her down by turn four, then use every additional creature that enters to choose one of her three alliance modes: generate green mana, put +1/+1 counters on the team, or scry 2 and draw. Elspeth, Sun's Champion and Pride of the Clouds provide a steady stream of evasive creatures, while Serra the Benevolent and Serra's Blessing turn those bodies into a flying army. Defense of the Heart and Elvish Piper give a secondary way to cheat large threats such as Deathcoil Wurm into play. There is no hidden commander or double-faced commander; Galadriel is the entire draw, pump, and mana engine, so the deck wins through incremental combat rather than a compact combo.
