Chatterfang by mnio8210

Format: Commander

Commander: Chatterfang, Squirrel General

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Golgari aristocrats/token combo deck. Chatterfang acts as a force multiplier, transforming every Food, Treasure, or Zombie token into an extra Squirrel, while the primary win is a sacrifice loop using Warren Soultrader, Gravecrawler, and a drain creature such as Blood Artist. A deep tutor suite-Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Entomb, Beseech the Mirror, Finale of Devastation, Green Sun's Zenith-finds the missing piece. Secondary plans use Pitiless Plunderer plus Chatterfang to generate mana and Squirrels, and an Aluren shell with Acererak the Archlich for a compact recursion/dungeon engine. The commander is not a required engine; most combo lines run without him, but Chatterfang's token doubling and sacrifice removal make him the best accelerant. The deck aims to win around turn five behind mana dorks and fast mana.
