Alania Otter Spellslinger by Isanx

Format: Commander

Commander: Veyran, Voice of Duality

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck wins by casting many instants and sorceries in one turn. Veyran, Voice of Duality doubles every magecraft trigger, so pingers like Guttersnipe and Fiery Inscription deal twice the damage, draw engines draw twice, and Treasure makers make twice. The primary plan is to establish Veyran plus one or two pingers, then storm off with cheap cantrips and rituals to burn the table. Secondary paths are large X-spells such as Crackle with Power, Comet Storm, and Jaya's Immolating Inferno, and a late Niv-Mizzet, Parun draw engine. Vivi Ornitier acts as a hidden commander as a mana source and pinger that scales with spell volume.
