Koma's Coils by AlexMitcham

Format: Commander

Commander: Koma, Cosmos Serpent

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Simic token-ramp deck is helmed by Koma, Cosmos Serpent, a resilient commander that generates a 3/3 Serpent token each upkeep and can sacrifice a Serpent to tap a permanent or grant indestructible. The primary game plan is to accelerate heavily with mana dorks and land ramp, deploy token doublers like Doubling Season and Parallel Lives, and overwhelm opponents with a tidal wave of tokens. The deck wins through combat via Craterhoof Behemoth, Pathbreaker Ibex, or Koma, World-Eater after amassing a critical mass of Serpent tokens. A secondary line uses Helm of the Host on Koma to create multiple non-legendary copies. The deck's creature-tutor suite (Green Sun's Zenith, Natural Order, Chord of Calling) ensures it can find its finishers reliably.
