Witherbloom B4 by user9064257

Format: Commander

Commander: Witherbloom, the Balancer

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Golgari go-wide tokens and affinity midrange-combo deck helmed by Witherbloom, the Balancer. The commander rewards creature density by discounting itself and every instant or sorcery, turning a wide board into cheap access to massive X-spells and tutors. The primary plan floods the board with tokens and dorks, then closes through efficient two-card combos (Chain of Smog + magecraft drainers), oversized finishers (Torment of Hailfire, Exsanguinate, Biorhythm, Craterhoof Behemoth via Finale of Devastation), or overwhelming combat. Secondary engines include sacrifice loops with Warren Soultrader, Phyrexian Altar, and Mirkwood Bats. The deck plays as a resilient value machine that converts creature count into both mana and spell discounts, winning through layered combo and combat lines rather than pure storm.
