Breena paper upgrade - STAX by user1092628

Format: Commander

Commander: Breena, the Demagogue

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Breena, the Demagogue pilots a political Orzhov stax deck. The primary plan is to invert opponents' best turns: tax their spell counts and attacks while using Breena's attack trigger to draw cards and grow blockers. Secondary paths are a two-cast Approach of the Second Sun finish and incremental drain from Sheoldred, Kambal, and Iron Maiden. The commander's role is a cheap, recursive draw/pump engine, not the main kill condition. There is no hidden commander; the only double-faced card is Brightclimb Pathway, so both faces are just mana. The deck grinds to an Approach-based kill once it has accumulated enough mana and tax.
