Deck overview

The deck's central plan is to exploit the no-maximum-deck-size rule from Whtz, the Bibliophile and win with Battle of Wits. Whtz, the Bibliophile is unusually efficient here: after the 200-card starting-deck condition is met, its draw ability costs {0}, although it still requires a turn to lose summoning sickness. The deck uses Enlightened Tutor, Idyllic Tutor, Moon-Blessed Cleric, Academy Rector, and other enchantment recursion to improve access to Battle of Wits. Its large basic-land base gives it stable colors and enough library depth, while enchantment engines such as Rhystic Study, Smothering Tithe, Mesa Enchantress, and Archon of Sun's Grace provide value. The main weakness is variance: the oversized singleton list makes any particular tutor, counterspell, or protection card difficult to find on time. A normal supported attempt is around turn 7, with a turn-8 upkeep win if the enchantment survives.
