Deck overview

This Izzet deck is commanded by Breeches, the Blastmaker and focuses on the synergy between casting multiple spells each turn and generating disposable artifact tokens. By combining cheap cantrips, cost reducers, and token generators like Third Path Iconoclast and Saheeli, Sublime Artificer, the deck consistently triggers Breeches's second-spell ability to copy spells or deal direct damage on coin flips. As the game progresses, mana engines like Storm-Kiln Artist and Galazeth Prismari fuel explosive turns where pingers like Guttersnipe and Reckless Fireweaver rapidly drain opposing life totals. While the deck generates high card velocity and broad board presence, it lacks unconditional tutors, dedicated stax, and fast infinite combos, relying instead on compounding non-infinite burn and evasive combat to eliminate opponents over a standard mid-game clock.
